Exact color
How do I display a HEX color in fullscreen?
Choose a color or type its six-digit HEX value, then open the color screen in fullscreen. This creates a clean solid color screen online for projection, mood lighting, video backgrounds, and quick visual comparisons.
The displayed color depends on the monitor profile, brightness, viewing angle, and room lighting. Use a calibrated display when accurate color matching matters; use this tool for convenient visual reference rather than print-proofing.
Lighting and displays
Can I use my monitor as a colored light?
Yes. Place the screen near a subject, select a saturated color, and adjust brightness until the effect looks natural. A larger white area usually gives softer light, while a smaller or more distant screen produces a weaker effect.
For display checks, inspect the color from the center and corners. Uneven patches that remain visible across several colors may come from panel uniformity rather than the selected HEX value.
Nothing leaves your screen.
